Inspired by literature.
inspiring audiences everywhere.

Named for the pivotal scene in C.S. Lewis's The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, Stone Table Theatre produces plays and musicals inspired by literature. We believe great stories transform despair into hope, and we're dedicated to bringing those stories to life while nurturing young artists through hands-on theatrical education.

Stay tuned—we'll be adding a full 2026 show list soon!

Lewis's classic story while learning from seasoned professionals.

Rehearsals begin February 21, 2026; Shows are May 11–17, 2026.

Meet the Founder & Director
Dan Roche

Stone Table Theatre is under the leadership of Dan Roche, who has 35 years of experience as an actor, director, producer and theater educator. Dan earned his BFA in Acting/Directing at Syracuse University Drama Dept. He also studied under Dr. James Young at Wheaton College. In L.A., he learned by assisting directors on TV sitcoms and films. He also was the Director of Theater Arts at Village Christian H.S. in Burbank.

He began learning the producing side of things in Chicago and had a hit show called One Man Star Wars Trilogy, which garnered international fame and had a hit Off Broadway run. In NYC, he established a working relationship with Broadway producer Carolyn Rossi Copeland and helped produce the play The God Committee (now a film starring Kelsey Grammer). He managed the musical Amazing Grace. He also was Associate Producer for Max McLean and the national tour of The Great Divorce.

A decade ago he founded Gramercy Theater in Orlando (his production of The Last Five Years was picked by the Orlando Sentinel as one of the best shows of 2008) and also taught drama at Park Maitland School. He is thrilled to finally call Orlando "home" for good!
